LESSON PROGRAMS GROUPS / TROOPS LESSON INFORMATION 
Groups:A kitchen area is available to eat cake or food (Pizza Hut delivery 828-2828) and open gifts that you provide. The initial fee is $40.00 per group no matter the number. You have 2 options when having a party: you may 1. have all of the participants ride 30 minutes (like a riding lesson) at an additional $25.00 per child or 2. have all participants be led around the ring one at a time at an additional $10.00 per child. Option 2 is most popular for children 7 years and under. For both options, the participants will get a barn tour and the opportunity to help brush and care for their horses. Troops: At MRA we welcome troops to come and earn their horse badges. Here are just some of the things your troop will do: 1. Get a barn tour with an explanation of how a barn functions 2. Learn safety around horses 3. Learn about grooming 4. Learn about saddles, bridles and other equipment 5. Learn how to mount/dismount and hold the reins properly There is a one time initial fee of $40.00 per troop. Each child may take a riding lesson for an additional fee of $25.00 per child. If you decide to just have each child led around the arena, there is only a fee of $10.00 per child. Typically, each troop will spend about 1 1/2 to 2 hours at the stables.
